Boise 4th of July Independence Day Parade
Come celebrate with the Boise community in 2023

Celebrating & Honoring Our Nation's Founding
In a letter to his wife, Abigail Adams, John Adams wrote:
"The date will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more."
Mr. Adams wrote this one day before the public reading of the adopted Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
It is with this sentiment that CapEd Credit Union(Opens in new tab) steps forward to ensure that the Boise Independence Day Parade continues and returns in 2023. CapEd will provide the base financial support and help organize volunteers, supportive community members, organizations, and businesses to ensure that succeeding generations celebrate the history of America.
"CapEd Credit Union embraces this opportunity to support an important community — and national — celebration. We look forward to drawing on our eighty-six-year legacy of supporting and enhancing our community. I invite individuals and businesses to join with us in organizing our community's 4th of July Independence Day Parade."

Community Involvement
Boise City Councilwomen Luci Willits commented:
"The Fourth of July is a time where we celebrate our Nation's historic founding, the principles of liberty, and what makes America so special - it's people. We need community opportunities to gather as family, friends, and neighbors. I'm thrilled CapEd is stepping up to ensure the Fourth of July parade continues in our capital city!"
